The Company M6 Duna Autópálya Koncessziós Zrt.
The Concessionaire M6 Duna Autópálya Koncessziós Zrt. was founded in 2004 by Bilfinger Berger Project Investments GmbH, a leading PPP developing company from Germany, Porr Infrastruktur GmbH, which has been present in the Austrian market for more than 125 years, and Swietelsky International Baugesellschaft m.b.H., a local important player focusing its construction activities on the Central European region.
In order to finance the M6 project with a total value of EUR 482 million - which includes construction, operation and maintenance of the motorway until 2026 - a long term financing had to be set up, where the European Investment Bank (EIB), DEXIA Capital Markets and Financial Security Assurance UK Ltd (FSA) are our present partners.
The construction works consist of the M6 motorway from Érdi-tető to Dunaújváros plus a section of the M8 motorway that leads from the M6 to the new Danube bridge which is built south of Dunaújváros. On total these are
- 58,6 km of motorway
- ten interchanges
- one motorway cross between M6 and the M8
- 60 bridges
- one Operation and Maintenance Centre
- two complex and two simple rest areas in each direction
- numerous side roads
- 15 roundabouts
The construction works were carried out by M6 Autópálya Építési Kkt., which was formed by Bilfinger Berger Bau GmbH (Austria), Porr Budapest (Hungary) and Swietelsky Budapest (Hungary).
The members of the board of directors of the M6 Duna Autópálya Koncessziós Zrt. are Mr. Marc Hörnig as the Chairman, Mr. Örs Belle and Mr. Zsolt Fáskerti.
